photography
overview
Following my architectural studies, I found myself at a creative crossroads. I chose to step away from the traditional path to travel and reflect, utilizing this global journey as a period of "site analysis" to discover more about myself and the design discipline I truly wanted to dedicate my career to.
objective
I required a tactile medium to serve as both a creative outlet and a method of documentation. My goal was to capture the atmospheric essence of different cultures and the fleeting geometry of new environments, preserving these memories through a lens of deliberate observation.
solution
The Olympus 35mm Mju became my vital companion - a compact tool demanding a strategic approach to every frame. My style is heavily informed by Wes Anderson’s cinematography, focusing on symmetry and strong central focal points - symbolising clarity and focus wih my life direction.
