When I first started my internship at Powderkeg, I joined the team to assist with a brand activation project for Ilegal Mezcal.
As the finale of the 2025 Edinburgh Bar Show, the brief required a complete spatial transformation of Lady Libertine into a Mexican "dive bar."
Our remit covered full-scale production: from signage and asset procurement to live music curation and overnight installation.
my impact
As part of the production team, my role balanced creativity with organisational skills. I assisted in developing the final client pitch decks and was responsible for the graphic design of event posters and merchandise.
Beyond the visuals, I managed the DJ booking for the evening and handled the procurement of physical assets, ensuring all atmospheric elements remained strictly within the project’s budget.
